Red Scarf Students Love Labor

With the coming of “International Labor Day 2016”, BCS organized a series of activities around the theme of “Red Scarf Students Love Labor”.

The counselors narrated the original of “International Labor Day” to students and asked students to think about how to practice the idea of “Labor is honorable”. During the International Labor Day holiday, students did different kinds of housework, which cultivated their enthusiasm for labor; helped them to get into the habit of labor; and taught them to cherish other people’s labor achievements.

The counselors invited their students’ parents to create opportunities for student to labor. Smaller students expressed their joy by drawing pictures and writing simple words. After the International Labor Day, students shared their experiences and exhibit their works. Mid-aged students took “I labored, I am honorable” as the theme and write articles to record this special holiday. These kinds of activities taught students to observe tiny things in our day life, to find joy in the dedication, and to think about the meaning of life. The Group Union of Primary School judged the students’ works and exhibited the “The First Prize”, “The Second Prize” and “The Third Prize” works on the board.

Through these kinds of activities, the teachers enhanced their confidence and will continue to march forward bravely. Thanks to all the staff and parents involved.
