The Celebration of “Children’s Day”

The Chorus Competition with the theme of “Happy Children’s Day, Sing on Campus” was held at the Beijing Concord School on May 31, 2016. Andy Truong, Executive Director; Mr. James Tian, Executive Principal; Ms. Jinzhi, Secretary of the Party and Director of School Administrative Office; Mr. Jiangtao, vice-principal; Ms. Zhang Weihong, Director of Primary School; and the representatives  of the new parents from Grade 1 attended the competition.  Teachers, including teaching teachers and teachers who look after children in life, were the judges. Wang haoyi from Grade 2-2 and Zhang Junxi from Grade 1-3 hosted the competition together.

The students in the event were excited and high spirited. They were looking forward to the start of the competition.

The first chorus is “CHONG ER FEI”, sang by Grade 2-1; “CHANG GE XING”, which was displayed by Grade4-1, means “Less work when someone was young, he will be sorrow in his old”. Then,  Grade 1 students sang “The League Anthem of the Young Pioneers of China”; Grade2-3 sang “SONG BIE”, which was a sorrow style; Grade2-2 song “Tomorrow Will be Better”, which motivated all people  to have longings and desires for the future.  The last song of the competition was “Snail and the Oriole Bird” from Grade 3-1.
