Students with Red Scarf Fulfill China’s Dreams

“The New Young Pioneers Ceremony” with the theme of “Students with Red Scarf Fulfill China’s Dreams” was held in the Beijing Concord School on May 31, 2016. The new students jointed in the Young Pioneers. Andy Truong, Executive Director; Mr. James Tian, Executive Principal; Ms. Jing Zhi, Secretary of the Party; Thom Sunega, Canadian Vice- Principal; Mr. Breeze, vice-principal; Ms. Zhang Weihong, Director of the Primary School; and the parents’ representatives of Grade1. This activity was hosted by Tangchao of Grade4-1 and Zhang Jinshaohua of Grade 3-1.

The ceremony started by “League Anthem of the Young Pioneers of China”, which encouraged the students. The new students made a vow, then parents of Grade1 wore the red scarves for the new young pioneers. After that, the representatives of the old young pioneers wore red scarves for the new coaches. The school leaders granted the Young Pioneer Flag to the new middle group. Chun Yuchen , the representative of the new young pioneers , greeted the people with a speech. Ms. Yang Yannan, the representative of new coaches, delivered a speech about the looking forward of the teachers.

After listening to Ms. Jing Zhi, TangChao called on all the new young pioneers to raise their right fists to swear. The ceremony was completed successfully in the flag music.
