The 2015-2016 Performance of Beijing Concord School Courses

“The 2015-2016 Performance of Beijing Concord School Courses” was held in the Lecture Theatre at 2:30 p.m. on June 23, 2016. Mr. James Tian, Executive Principal; Ms. Jin Zhi, Secretary of the BCCSC’s Communist Party, Chairman of the Labor Union; Ms. Zhang Weihong, Director of the Primary School; the international teachers Sue, Christine and Andrew; and all the teachers and students of the primary school attended the report performance. All the students of the Host Class were the hosts.

The performance opened with Zhang Jinshaohua (Grade3-1) playing drums. Then, the school roller skating team showed their excellent performance “Sunshine Boys”, which received the audience’s applause and cheers. Students from English Stage Play Course performed “Riding Hood”; Students from English Dub Class showed “Dambi”. These kinds of performances enhanced other students’ interest in studying English. Students from Host Class played “Grow Up”, which was written and directed by themselves. Then, a Chinese Student, a South Korean student and an Australian student delivered the speech “Hometown Affection”, which taught other students the cultural difference among the three countries. Teachers and students of the Choir Course sang “Sheng Lu Qi Meng” together, which impressed the students. Then, the exciting performance of street dance, Latin dance, Rumba dance, playing Guzheng and Taekwondo brought students go through modern society and ancient society. Making dumplings, Zong Zi and Tang Yuan; calligraphy; playing puzzles; and simulation of dragon boat racing pushed the performance into the climax. The performance ended in the music performance “Nail and Oriole”.  

This BCS Courses Performance embodied the teaching ideals of “Stirring students’ interests; Displaying Teachers’ Special Talents.”Combining the students and the teachers’ actual situation, the BCS Courses are focus on the students’ comprehensive developments and the practice abilities.

This event was completed successfully. Thanks to all the teachers, students and parents involved. BCS will continue to develop the special course for the students.
