The Establishment of BCS’s Branch of the Communist Youth League and BCS’s first Entrance Ceremony of the Communist Youth League

“The Establishment of BCS’s Branch of the Communist Youth League and BCS’s first Entrance Ceremony of the Communist Youth League” were held in the Meeting Room of the Comprehensive Building at 10:30 on July 1, 2016. Mr. James Tian , Executive Principal, Member of the board of BCS; Ms. Jin Zhi, Secretary of BCS’S Branch of the Communist Party, Member of the board of BCS; Mr. Cao, Director of the Middle School, Secretary of BCS’s Branch of the Communist Youth League; Grade 9 students; the homeroom teachers ; the Committee of BCS’s Branch of the Communist Youth League; Student Leaders; and activists for the Communist Youth League participated in the event.    

The ceremony opened with the solemn national anthem. Mr. Cao highlighted the No. 11 Article: “The Approval of Beijing Concord School’s Application for the establishment of BCS’s Branch of the Communist Youth League”. Wang Ying presented “The Committee List of BCS’s Branch of the Communist Youth League”. These students who are the first batch of BCS to participate in the Communist Youth League, raise their right fists to swear an oath: “Strive for the Communist Party”. The school leaders rewarded the Communist Youth League Badge to these students. Ms. Jin Zhi delivered a remark and made a special note: asking the students to remember the oath and implement it by their behavior. The ceremony ended on a high note with the song “Honorable, the Communist Youth League”.    

The establishment of the BCS’s Branch of the Communist Youth League is significant. The Communist Youth League is the assistant and reserve of the Communist Party. BCS’s branch of the Communist Youth League will enroll more students; develop further; organize students to participate in more social activities; and boost BSC’s teaching quality.
