You don’t know What you have until It’s Gone “Earth Hour” Activity

Earth Hour is an activity organized by WWF. It means on the last Saturday of every March, all families and organizations for business should turn off their lights to limit the green house effect.

BCCSC is one of the Round Square Members. The environment idea is one the six ideas of Round Square. BCCSC emphasize the environment idea. From last year, Round Square organized students to participate in the “Earth Hour” to limit the green house effect.

BCCSC missed the “Earth Hour” this year due to the 20th Anniversary of BCCSC, but “ Better late than never.” So BCCSC organized the students to make up the “Earth Hour” on March 30. Ms. Ma, Director of the Student Admission Office, educated BCCSC students about environment idea, then, students watched the educational video. Finally, BCCSC turned off all lights for five minutes.

Earth Hour is not a simple activity to turn off light for an hour, but it aims to enhance the students’ environment idea and cultivate their good habits.
