BCCSC Grade 11 Students Participated in the “Round Square in BCCSC” Report Meeting

Ms. Hu Jing, the person responsible for “Round Square” project at BCCSC, delivered a speech for the Grade 11 in the Lecture Theater at 7:00 p.m. on August 31, 2017.

Ms. Hu Jing introduced the “Round Square” and its six ideas of “Environment”, “Service”, “Democracy”, “Internationalism”, “Adventure”, and “Leadership”. 150 schools, which are from more than 50 countries, are members of Round Square. BCCSC is the first school in mainland of China to join in Round Square in 2013. So far, BCCSC has established communications and exchanges with more than 40 international schools.

BCCSC made full use of the platform of Round Square and exchanged students with other schools. BCCSC also often organized students to attend the Round Square Meeting and Round Square Voluntary Activities, which broaden the students’ international horizons.

At the end of the meeting, Ms. Hu explained the procedures of applying to be a Round Square Exchange Student. She also shared the experience of leading students to visit Canada, Australia and England. She put forward her expectations to the students and hoped the students would join in the Round Square activities ofen to broaden their horizons and enhance their leadership skills.
