BCCSC/BCS 2017 -2018 Term 1, Opening Ceremony

BCCSC/BCS 2017-2018 Term 1, Opening Ceremony was held at 8:00 a.m. on September 4 on the football field of school. Dr. Francis Pang, Board of Directors; Mr. James Tian, Executive Principal; Ms. Jing Zhi, the Secretary of the Party Branch and Vice- Principal; Mr. Thom Sunega, Canadian Vice-Principal; Ms. Zhang Feng xian and Ms. Qiu Yun from Teachers Research Center; and the foreign teachers attended the opening ceremony.

On the ceremony, Dr. Francis Pang delivered a speech with enthusiasm to welcome the old and new students. He hopes for all the students to devote themselves to their studies. Dr. Francis Pang encouraged them to achieve more accomplishments in the future. Wang Xinyue, the representative of the students, delivered a speech. Then, Tess Heath, an exchange student from University of Ballarat, made a speech. At the end of the ceremony, Mr. James Tian, announced that the student list who won the “2016-2017, Term 2 Great Wall and Maple Leaf Golden Awards”, “Excellent Student in Last Term ”, “Excellent Students in Senior High School Entrance Examination”, “BCCSC AP Stars”, “International Competition Excellent Awards”, “Great Wall and Maple Leaf Single Excellent Awards”, “ Module Progress Awards”, “ English Words Weekly Test Group Awards” and “Primary School Great Wall and Maple Leaf Awards”. The school leaders issued the awards to the students.

The opening ceremony was hosted by Cheng Yixiang and Zhao Xueran, two students of Grade 12.
