BCCSC Teachers and Students Watched a Stage Play in the Capital Theatre

More than 150 teachers and students of BCCSC Grade 11 went to the Capital Theatre for the stage play “Guan Hanqing” on September 26, 2017.

On the basis of Chinese education, BCCSC carries on the principal of “Inspiring the students’ interests and cultivating the students’ comprehensive ability.” BCCSC advocated the democratic, cooperative and creative way of studying. In this term, BCCSC changed the “Chinese and Foreign Drama Appreciation Module” of Grade 11, from studying in the classroom to watching in the theater.

Guan Han Qing, authorized by Tian Han and directored by Tang Ye. It related the stories about “Dou E Yuan”.

The students were shocked by the performance. Every movement was fantastic. The students learned a lot from these kinds of off-campus activities.

Watching the play in the Capital Theatre is the extension of Chinese class. We hope students can appreciate the paly and learn from it. These kinds of off-campus lesson can improve the students’ comprehensive qualities.
