College Board’s Pre-AP Training in BCCSC

The College Board’s Pre-AP Training took place at the comprehensive building . Ms. Carol choong, Mr.Deanna Heim, Ms. Susan Challancin, Dr. Francis Pang, Mr. Wang Benzhong, and the vice-principals from other CCSC attended the training.

Dr. Francis Pang delivered a speech at the beginning of the training at 8:00a.m. BCCSC was established 20 years ago. As the earliest school who introduced AP Course in China. Ms. Lin Tao, the General Manager of Springboard, delivered a speech to express her expectation and confidence in BCCSC.

This training was aimed at Math and English subjects. Mr. Andy Truong, the Executive Director of BCCSC, and other teachers of CCSC participated. Ms. Susie and Ms. Deanna, the experts from Springboard, led the training.

All the teachers learned a lot from the training. Ms. Susie　introduced the teachers the goal, the concepts and the ways of presenting the materials. Mr. Deanna introduced the contents and the schedules of AP. The experts provided electronic data, including the electronic textbooks and the usage of the electronic Springboard platform.

The supervisors of CCSC had a meeting about the strategy of “　Education Facing Modern, World and Future”. They agreed that teachers play an important role in teaching and education. Only the teachers keep improving themselves, they can help the students better. We believe that under the guidance and supports of the supervisors, CCSC students can become better.
