BCCSC Round Square held the 1st “Friendship Debate Competition”

Debate is a kind of art. In order to improve the students’ sense of team spirit and their debate ability, BCCSC Round Square Committee held the 1st “Friendship Debate Competition” in December, 2017.

It was very cold outside while it was very hot inside the lecture theater. There were preliminary contest and quarter-final. The first match was between G10-1 and G10-4; while the second match was between G10-2 and G10-3.

Students of G10-2 and G10-4 participated in the quarter-final on Dec.17, 2017. The topic for the debate was “The Relationship between Doctor and Patient”. The participants debated fiercely. The judges’ comments benefited the students a lot.

Finally, the students from G10-4 won. The No.1 debater was Wu Yifan; No.2 debater was Zhu Canran; No.3 debater was Mao Wanqiao; No.4 debater was Li Xiangyu. We believed that they enhanced their friendship through this debate competition.
