Round Square Australian and East Asia Annual Regional Meeting Was Held Successfully at BCCSC

Round Square Australasia & East Asia Annual Regional Meeting was held at BCCSC on March,3rd, 2018. More than 70 representatives were from many countries, including Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, Mongolia, South Korea, and New Zealand. This was the first Round Square meeting in China. The volunteers of BCCSC carefully prepared for the meeting.

The Round Square Representatives Meeting was held on March 2nd, 2018. The students were standing orderly at the east gate to welcome the Round Square Representatives. Mr. Andy Truong, Executive Director, delivered the welcome speech. Mr. Rod Summerton, the Director of Round Square Australia and East Asia, made the opening speech. The representatives shared their success stories with others during the two days’ meeting.

Dr. Francis Pang, Chairman of the Boards, delivered the welcome speech for the Round Square Meeting on March, 3rd, 2018. Dr. Francis Pang, on behalf of CCSC, presented gifts to Mr. Rod Fraser. Mr. Wang Benzhong, delivered a speech on the Direction of Chinese Education and the Aim of IDEALS; narrated Round Square’s great influenced on BCCSC; and gave gifts to Ms. Rachael Westgarth, the CEO of Round Square. Mr. Rachael Westgarth gave a presentation on the achievements and programs of Round Square during last year. She also established the targets for the next year.

The BCCSC teachers and students presented excellent performance for the Round Square representatives, including an Opera, Guqin, and Guzhen. The representatives from Shenzhen Nansha Concord College reported the organization scheme for 2019 Round Square Meeting.

This meeting provided a communication platform and a sharing chance for the memberships of Round Square.
