The Lecture on the Duke of Edinburgh International Awards Was held at BCCSC
The Duke of Edinburgh International Awards founded in 1956, which has a 62 years’ history. During the past 62 years, the award has been accepted by more than 130 countries. The two founders for this award were Mr. Duke of Edinburgh KG and Mr. Kurt Hahn. There were three levels of Edinburgh International Awards: Golden Awards, Silver Awards and Bronze Awards. Four Parts for the Edinburgh Awards: Service, Skills, Physical Fitness, and Adventure. BCCSC is one of the first schools who can authenticate independently international awards. 。
BCCSC held the lecture on the Duke of Edinburgh International Awards at the Lecture Theatre on March 28 and 29. Mr. Sun explained the registration procedure about the Duke of Edinburgh International Awards. Ms. Ma, the vice-principle of BCCSC, delivered a speech to encourage the students to plan their study goals. There were three characteristics of the Duke of Edinburgh International Awards: High Level, Wide Content and Wide Acceptance. Manager Zhang, from the Orient XIN SEN Company, taught the skills and common knowledge about adventure.
