Address from Mr. Li Yi, Deputy Director of Beijing Municipal Commission of Education

Honorable guests, dear students, teachers, parents and friends:

Good afternoon!

I am pleased to be here attending the graduation ceremony of CCSC. On behalf of Beijing Municipal Commission of Education, I congratulate all the graduates for your accomplishing high school and setting out on a new journey in your life. In the meanwhile, together with the you, I want to express my sincerest gratitude to your teachers, who has been educating you, and your parents, who have been cultivating you.

CCSC has been dedicating to the cause of education for over 20 years, with over 20 colleges and schools around the nation, which have provided well-rounded international education for more than 10,000 students. Beijing Concord College of Sino-Canada was established in 1997 as the only cooperative high school embracing both Chinese national curriculum and foreign curriculum, which opened a new window to the International educational exchange and cooperation.

At present, a brand new overall city plan is ongoing, strengthening the construction of the Capital's "four Centers" function in an all-round way. The municipal government has been laying emphasis on the international education cooperation and making efforts on constructing the new patterns of education exchange and cooperation. CCSC is to meet the challenge, brave the hardship, lead the way to fame the brand and become a model.

Never forget why you started, and your mission can be accomplished. 2018 Graduates, on the new journey in your life, please bear in mind your nation; keep in heart high aspiration; endeavor for the deeper friendship between China and Canada; and strive for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
