The Conclusion Conference of BCCSC Academic Examinations 2018

In the golden autumn, the fragrance of osmanthus was wafted by the fragrance of osmanthus, and there was a burst of applause in the lecture hall of the Canadian school under the setting sun in the afternoon. The conclusion conference of the BCCSC academic examinations 2018 was held here.

The meeting was hosted by Mr. Ma Ge,vice principal; Ms. Ma Xiaokui, vice principal; Mr.Huang Changqing,director of the teaching department and all the teachers of the class of grade one and grade two in high school. More than 20 people attended the meeting.

Mr. Ma made a brief summary of the study examination work of our school in 2018. He said that the study examination was a new topic for our school's teaching work, and how to do well in the review and preparation for the examination was a new challenge for our international bilingual school. This semester, with the active efforts of teachers and students, our school has achieved relatively ideal results in the academic level examination, and the pass rate of English and history has reached 93.8 %. This is a remarkable achievement. We should sum up the experience carefully, and learn from other subjects seriously. We should try to improve the passing rate of the academic examination.

Mr. Fu Hai ping said, under the guidance of Mr . James Tian, the teachers worked together to overcome the difficulties. Iorder to welcome the first exam of Beijing's new curriculum reform, BCCSC staff made good preparations and achieved ideal results. Thank you for your hard work.

Ms. Su Yanfeng, from the English group and Ms. Xu Jing, from the history group summarized the preparation process of their study examination and shared their experience with teachers, and put forward their own suggestions for the study examination review.

In the discussion section, all teachers expressed that they should work hard, hold the confidence of winning, roll up their sleeves and work hard, and firmly win the battle of 2019. We look forward to the joy of success in next year's academic examinations echoing over the school in Beijing! The meeting ended in a warm, integrated atmosphere!

许晶老师:

学业水平考试是个新旧参半的事物,说它“新”,是因为它重新确定了考试体系,分为合格考和等级考,并和高考挂钩,已经出台了新版的教学大纲,还在等待相应配套的新教材出版。说它“旧”,是因为依然可以在原来的统一会考中找到影子。

我校从2017级高一新生入学开始,不再拥有自主会考的资格,需要参加北京市统一学业水平考试。在第一次学业水平考试中,我校学考班历史学科的一次性通过率为94%,值得祝贺。借此机会,我将第一次带领学生准备、应对学考的一些体会和感想做一个总结和反思。

历史学科参加学考的时间为高一年级第二个学期期末,因为是高一上学期期末才接到相关通知,所以是从第二个学期才开始以学考为方向进行教学和复习,对于像历史这样的文科来说,知识点多,体系庞杂,需要记忆的内容多,学生在初中时又大多不重视,升入高一时,对历史知识了解的很少。在第二学期中还要余下一些时间来复习高一上学期的内容和做总复习,时间很紧迫,需要做的很多。起初,我也经历了一段比较慌乱的时期,东西太多,以致于不知道该从哪里下手,该如何下手。后来,我想这就是一场考试。不管是应对什么类型的考试,都是有规律可循的。我是这样设计教学和复习的:

一、在学考考试说明还没有发下来的时候,我上网找到之前的会考考试说明,按照考试说明上的考试内容和标准做学期教学计划。讲新课大约几周,复习高一上学期内容大约几周,最后做综合题、总复习大约几周。做到按部就班,心里有数。

二、严格按照学考考试说明来进行授课。因为时间有限,凡是考试说明上没有提及的内容就简单概括。为了提高效率和有针对性,我每节课都会出自己打学案,结合教材和考试说明的考点让学生做填空,学生上课时可以边听边写,既节省了学生记笔记的时间又能较好的把学生的注意力控制在课堂上,同时也让学生在总复习的时候有一个具体的参考资料。

三、每课学案后面附上几道随堂练习题,做到讲完就练、讲练结合。这些题都是考试说明上关于这节课内容的例题,让学生知道学过的知识点是怎样呈现在试卷上的,也就是让他们知道是怎么考的。

四、反复做考试说明上的例题。所谓“例题”,就是样子,和真题长的差不多、知识点考察方向差不多、难度差不多的题。在新授课的学案中已经做过一遍了,综合复习的时候,再做一遍,两遍的重复做题就加深了学生对知识点以及考点呈现方式的印象,我会再找一些和例题相似的题做练习,比如之前两年的会考真题。

我认为在学业水平考试的授课及复习中最重要的就是考试说明,这个小册子就是风向标,所以我们应该牢牢抓住它。以考试说明为大纲,合理、紧凑的安排教学及复习,当然,更需要同学们积极的配合,只有在师生的共同努力之下,才能圆满的完成学考目标。

对于英语学考的几点备考建议:

第一,分类整理学考高频词汇。有的学生对于星期、月份、季节这样简单的词都不会拼写,所以我就将单词按词性进行分类之后,各词再分为:交通工具、动物、天气、月份等。让学生们在课下对这些单词进行背诵,课上我会对学生进行提问以及听写。

第二,背诵句型。每周一学考班的单词卷单独出,所以我将单词卷上的最后一题设为写句子。在周五,会给学生讲解五个学考常用句型的用法,在下周一单词考试中进行测验,为写作打下良好的基础。

第三,进行专项训练。

(1) 将听力放在早读,课上重听错题,在单词本上记下听力填空部分的易错词,同时每周课上必听一套学考真题。

(2) 完型填空是同学们失分率较高的题目,既考阅读理解能力又考语法、词汇的运用。每周我会用一节课精讲课下做的完型填空或者阅读题,考前一个月,利用课上的时间,进行定时训练,随后订正,然后精讲,让学生记忆高频词汇和短语。

(3) 对于写作,主要是让学生背句子,背范文,平时每周背一篇。随后,让学生背诵五句常用写作句型,以加平时分为鼓励。

第四,进行模拟测试。每周让学生进行一到两次模拟题练习,精讲易错题,总结失分原因,避免下次犯同样的错误。

第五,考前鼓劲儿,让学生重视学考,讲清利弊。

总结来说,把工作落实到每一天,每一节课,抓紧每分每秒指导学生学习。
