Grade 10 Students Study Tour in Wuyuan
Alone holding an oil-paper umbrella,
I wander along a long
Solitary lane in the rain,
Hoping to encounter
A girl like a bouquet of lilacs
Gnawed by anxiety and resentment.
Chinese umbrellas have a long history, and the first umbrella was invented by Lu Ban’s wife, Yun. The paper umbrella is a traditional Chinese umbrella. It has been used for more than 1,000 years. An umbrella stand is made by hand-cut bamboo strips, and a lint paper coated with natural waterproof oil is used as a canopy. The oil-paper umbrella is the earliest umbrella in the world. It is made by hand. It is the crystallization of the wisdom of the ancient Chinese. The students made a unique oil paper umbrella for themselves at the Wuyuan Jialu Paper Umbrella Factory in Jiangxi.

The students climbed Zhangling and enjoy the view after lunch.
Once upon a time, Zhangling was a small village scattered in the mountains, standing on the hill. Like many unknown villages, the mountain steep road is narrow, quiet and peaceful. Jiangxi Wuyuan was once one of the birthplaces of ancient Huizhou culture, and Zhangling is also an ancient Huizhou village with a history of nearly 600 years.

Zhangling has been covered by greenery since summer came. The students went to see the flower town. They are very impressed by how the 600-year-old village hanging on the cliff turned into a beautiful mountain village.
