Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the People's Republic of China----Study Tour to Pingyao

We walked through the roadway of Pingyao City with a history of more than 2,800 years.

Pingyao City has six ancient city gates. The "turtle city" is derived from the ancient people's worship of the "four spirits". The "turtle city" means the golden soup and long-term stability. The ancient architectural art and practical art are really combined to the extreme!

Pingyao County is located in the center of Pingyao Ancient City. Pingyao County is one of the four ancient preserves in China. It is also the largest existing county in the country. The county's entire building group is orderly and reasonable in structure. In the county, we watched the county officer’s trial performance.

Rishengchang bank was established in Qing Daoguang for three years (1823), it has distinct functions. It pioneered the Chinese national banking industry. Its branches cover more than 30 cities across the country, far from Europe, America, Southeast Asia and other countries, known as "Huitong World". The teachers and students went deep into the depths of the vault, and everyone enjoyed it.

Ancient city. Teachers and students walked on Wall Street in ancient China. China’s first bank, Rishengchang, was established in the West Street of the ancient city and was well known as “the first street of Daqing Finance”.

Pingyao City is an outstanding example of ancient Chinese cities in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It preserves all its characteristics. Moreover, in the development of Chinese history, a complete picture of extraordinary cultural, social, economic and religious developments was presented. I really hope that we can have more time for us to see this historic town.
