Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the People's Republic of China----Study Tour to Shanxi Museum
BCCSC Grade 11 students visited Shanxi Museum, the largest place in the study tour on October 22, 2019,
Shanxi Museum is one of the top five museums in China. It consists of seven historical and cultural themes, including the Cradle of Civilization, the Trace of Xia Shang, the Kingdom of Jin, the National Furnace, the Relic of the Buddha, the Hometown of the Opera, and the Shanxi Merchants of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It also consists of five art themes. We came to the Shanxi Museum today, and we just caught up with the Shanghai Museum and the Shanxi Museum to jointly organize the painting exhibition of the famous Ming Dynasty painter Dong Qichang. The rich content of the museum and the vast collection of the museum impressed the teachers and students.

Shanxi is a treasure land. The southern part of Shanxi is the "Xia Xu". The Xia Dynasty civilization was densely distributed in Shanxi. The teachers and students walked in the Jin exhibition hall, a large number of exquisite bronzes highlighted the 150-year history of glory.
The day before, during the visit to Jinci, the students saw the wonderful ingenuity of the arch. They were even more immersed in this music. They were amazed at Shanxi as the "hometown of opera" and the birthplace of Chinese opera. The masterpieces of the past generations have come forth in large numbers.

For the last stop we came to the Shanxi Coal Museum. It is the only national-level museum in the national coal industry. It is a research center for the collection of coal cultural relics, documents and historical materials. It is also the exhibition center for the history and development achievements of the coal industry. They listened to the tour guides for our detailed introduction, learned the knowledge of coal formation, distribution, and classification that could not be learned in the textbook. With the mining car, we came to the depths of the mine and saw all the links in the production of coal mines. The students walked out of the mine, and they could not calm down for a long time.
