The 22nd Student Congress of our University Came to a Successful Conclusion

The student Congress is a mass organization on behalf of students, a bridge and link between schools and students, an authority for students to participate in democratic management, and represents the interests and rights of students, and performs their due obligations. Student organization is an effective carrier for schools to carry out independent management. Students get self-training, self-development and self-improvement in this stage.

The first meeting of the Student Congress of BSSCS was successfully held in the conference room of the comprehensive building on October 24, 2019. The meeting was attended by Mr. Tian Zhenzhou, Executive Principal, Ms.Laurel Schwartz, Vice Principal of Canada, Ms. Ma Xiaokui, Vice Principal, Mr. Cao Xiaopeng, Director of School Department, Mr. Zhang Gang, Deputy Director of Student Affairs and 35 representatives of students. At the opening ceremony, Ms.Laurel Schwartz said: I hope that the representatives of the student Congress can really serve their classmates, assist and promote the education and management of the school.

We elected the new Round Square Committee on Internationalism, the Democracy and the Environmental Protection. The three candidates are Xue Zhihui, Xiao Yao and Liu Qi. They stated the election position, team planning, and fully demonstrated their excellent quality and good working ability. Their wonderful speeches won applause from leaders and student representatives from time to time.

Finally, Mr. Tian Zhenzhou, the executive principal, delivered a speech in the hope that the elected student cadres would "seek their politics, shoulder their responsibilities," innovate constantly, and add luster to China with their actions.

On November 5, the second student Congress of our school was held in the lecture hall. The chairman, vice chairman, secretary-general and chairman, vice chairman and secretary-general of the student union were elected. This was followed by the election of the Vice Principal of the Student Union. He Qiongjie made an enthusiastic speech from the aspects of understanding of the competitive position, the analysis of her own advantages and the assumption of her future work.

Finally, the executive director Mr.Andy Truong delivered a speech, hoping that student cadres will not bear the heavy trust, live up to their mission, and explore and innovate.

On November 7, the third student Congress of our school was held, which elected the chairman of the adventurous spirit committee, the leadership committee and the service committee. Li Xiangling, Shi Yulu, and Cai Tianlin were electced. Next, the Kurt Hann Award was elected.

At the flag-raising ceremony on 11 November, the Executive Principal, Mr. Tian Zhenzhou, announced the establishment of the new Round Square Student Committee.
