BCCSC online anniversary activity Blessings videos from all over the world
Teachers and students from BCCSC across the world celebrated the 23rd anniversary of BCCSC online on March 26, 2020.
Various online celebrations were organized for the anniversary. The collection of blessings with the theme of "send blessings from all over the world" attracted the lots of participation of teachers and students. The videos were from Executive Director Mr. Andy Truong, Principal Ms. Xue Mei, Executive Principal Mr. Tian Zhenzhou, Secretary of the Party Branch Ms. Jing Zhi, Vice President Ms. Ma Xiaokui, Vice President Mr. Ma Ge and other school leaders, as well as the one of our founders Liu Wenlian and the retired teacher representative Liu Yinfen New and staff and students. They all wished our school become better and better and create greater glories!
Board Chairman Dr. Peng Jianhua and Executive Director Mr. Andy Truong sent blessing videos from Canada respectively. Chairman Dr. Peng Jianhua called on everyone to contribute to BCCSC. Mr. Andy Truong, Executive Director, wished all Chinese and foreign teachers and students, and all parents and friends who support the development of BCCSC all the best.
Principal Wang Benzhong congratulated BCCSC/BCS on the great international education in the last quarter of a century. The school made significant achievements. He looked forward to the BCCSC / BCS in the new journey of education reform and and reaching a new height in education!
In the past 23 years, BCCSC, as the first Chinese-foreign cooperative school in Beijing, has trained a lot of qualified graduates and has become a well-known international education brand at home and abroad.
BCCSC has been deeply involved in the development of international education for 23 years.
Became a member school of Beijing Educational Science and Culture Association in 1997;
Party branch was established in 1998;
The Personal Development Center (PDC) was established in 2000;
In 2003, BCCSC became the first school with new curriculum reform by the Ministry of Education;
In 2004, BCCSC became the one of the first Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run schools that got acceptance from the Ministry of Education in Beijing;
In 2005, BCCSC cooperated with ASDAN to carry out COPE and AOPE certification projects;
BCCSC was approved by the Municipal Education Commission in 2008 to become one of the first independent curriculum construction experimental schools in Beijing;
BCCSC was certified by the American University Council in 2009, approved by the Ministry of Education as the AP curriculum teaching and examination center, "Leadership of Middle School Students" was the one of the first experimental schools in the country, and was awarded the title of "Capital Safe Campus"
In 2011, BCCSC was awarded as "Independent School of Edinburgh International Awards";
In 2013, BCCSC became the first member school of Round Square in the world;
In 2014, BCCSC participated in the research on the Discovery Framework course system cooperated by Round Square and the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom, and won the honorary titles of "International School with the Most Running Characteristics", "National Demonstration School for Environmental Education", and "International School Recommended ";
In 2015, the Arts Center and RSL British Modern Music and Piano Center were established;
In 2016, the STEAM Comprehensive Course Center was established;
In 2017, an international curriculum center was established;
In 2018, BCCSC successfully passed the review of Beijing international schools;
In 2019, BCCSC won the honorary titles of "Safe Campus" and "Advanced Fire Control Organization" in Tongzhou District, Beijing.
Meanwhile, the school is also the designated test site for the Australian AMC Mathematics Competition, the "Physics Cup" American high school physics competition test site, the youth science Olympiad test site, and the linguistics Olympiad test site. American University Council AP Examination Center certification, approved by the Ministry of Education as the AP course examination center
BCCSC will continue to move forward in the direction of international excellence education and creating "double first-class courses"!
