G9-1 students and teacher mask donation to the community

The epidemic in the past few days affects every Chinese. The joint prevention and control of Beijing from top to bottom is conducted everywhere, and every citizen is making a contribution to anti-epidemic.

Since the start of the epidemic, the community as the first line of protection network has undertaken multiple important tasks such as popularization of science, registration, and one-on-one service of home quarantine. Taking this into consideration, Chang Jingwen, class 1 of our school's 9th grader, and Xu Fangfei, the class leader, launched an initiative on February 11th among the classmates. They called on students to donate voluntarily, This idea got strong support from other students, and the students offered their help. During the epidemic, the purchase of masks was extremely difficult. After the teacher Wang Bo knew of their good deeds, she immediately sought help through her friends. Soon, the children’s good deeds were also responded to by kind-hearted people. 100 masks were purchased.

The students finally donated these 100 masks to the general party branch of the community where the school is located, and the party branch distributed them to the community workers who worked hard on the front line. The community staff was very touched when they saw the masks donated by the students. They thanked the students of Class 1 of the 9th grade of BCS for their charity. They highly praised the school ’s contribution in educating people and expressed their love. We will overcome the epidemic as long as we work together!
