The eighth thesis selection of BCS and BCCSC ended successfully

Teaching research is an inportant quality for modern teachers. An excellent teacher must not only teach well in class, but also write well in articles. Only by summarizing the practice in teaching, can a teacher keep pace with the times. An important way for many educators and famous teachers to grow up is to write teaching papers frequently. In order to stimulate the passion and enthusiasm of teachers and students in our school to write teaching papers, the eighth teacher management and teaching paper selection work was carried out, which was successfully concluded recently. This paper selection received strong support from school leaders. The principal, Mr. Mage, put forward specific requirements for the selection of papers, especially for the duplication check work, and gave serious guidance. The majority of teachers responded positively and participated actively. A total of 71 papers on teaching, 7 papers on moral education, and 90 papers were received in this selection. A serious review and selection were carried out, and a total of 39 excellent papers were selected.

This paper selection adheres to the following four principles:

One is the principle of authenticity. The paper must be written by the person himself, not copied or downloaded from the Internet, resolutely put an end to academic irregularities, academic corruption, adhere to good and realistic academic ethics, and also a pure land of academics, and uphold academic integrity.

The second is the principle of combining theory and practice. The teaching essay must be a combination of theory and teaching practice. Teaching without the guidance of advanced teaching theories is blindly, low-level teaching practice, divorced from the theory of teaching practice, and it is pale and lifeless. Therefore, the combination of theory and teaching practice is an important principle of our selection work.

The third is the scientific principle. It is required that the thesis written by the teacher should start from the problems in the teaching work, from the teaching practice of the teacher himself. Teaching practice requires researching what you focus on, rather than making up your own. Data must be true, reliable, scientific and reasonable.

Fourth is the guiding principle. It is required to recognize that the purpose of the selection of teaching papers is to summarize the teaching rules, correctly guide the majority of teachers to learn the teaching and teaching theory, and more importantly, to use the teaching theory to guide their own teaching practice, to better serve future teaching and improve the teaching level. In the selection of teaching theory papers, valuable and actionable practices and measures can be found, which can be promoted and applied to the teaching practice of our school in time.

This award-winning thesis has the following three notable features:

1. New topics in the first choice. Many teachers paid good attention to the topics, focusing on the big picture and starting from the small. Many teachers focus on the development of students' overall quality, and focus on highlighting interest, cooperation, exchanges, and activity evaluation.

2. Discuss the truth. This year’s review papers have a wide range of research directions. Many papers focus on new curriculum concepts and innovating online teaching classroom practices during the Beijing epidemic period to overcome various challenges brought by the new coronavirus epidemic. It reflects the current reform direction of the new curriculum of our school, focusing on the teaching hotspots and pain points of teachers.

3. The conclusive results of many teachers are very insightful. The material selection of the thesis covers a wide range of works, covering different types of works in various disciplines. It can be seen that the teacher's understanding of the new curriculum standard teaching is accurate. Through the elaboration of educational theory, the summary of educational experience, and the reflection on the expression of specific teaching methods, we can show the basic quality of our school teachers and the ability to control the classroom, and the pursuit of higher subject value.

In short, with the strong support of school leaders and the active participation of teachers, this selection of teaching papers has been a complete success, and it has provided us with an opportunity to taste the glory in this blooming season. Thanks to every teacher who participated in the evaluation and congratulations to the authors of every award-winning excellent paper. The selection is just a starting point. We firmly believe that each session of thesis writing will become a way for teachers to consciously reflect on education and teaching. In the future teaching, our teachers will think deeply, investigate carefully, summarize in time, and continuously improve their own teaching ability. In their own teaching Turning theory into practice, and sublimating practical experience into theory, gradually moving towards research teachers.
