Books are the friends of mankind, and books are the ladder for mankind to improve them! In order to broaden the knowledge of students, the series of reading activities "making friends with books, growing with me, and travelling in the ocean of knowledge" have been carried out to stimulate students' interest in reading and make every student wants to read, loves to read, and knows how to read.

The participating grades in this activity are the first-grade students and the fourth-grade students. Taking into account the relatively low reading ability of the first-year students, so the first-year students will rub the cover of the picture book story, and use the thin rubbing paper to rub the cover of the picture book story book they like. Through the displayed works, we can see that the first-grade children are doing it very seriously and can’t wait to share their favorite picture book stories with everyone.

The fourth-grade students’ reading activities are centered on their favorite books, searching for relevant information about the author of this book, and other books of the same type. It can be seen that the fourth grade students have a wider range of reading categories, the book list is more complex, and the accumulated reading knowledge is also more diverse.

The class teachers and parents have been very supportive to task assignment and the display of outstanding works. Students in other grades of the elementary school will also be deeply inspired and love reading even more.
