“Young teachers one on one pairing”Professional Development

——BCCSC-High School Affiliated to Beijing Institute of Technology Young Teachers Development Activity

On the afternoon of November 12, 2020, BCCSC-High School Affiliated to Beijing Institute of Technology Young Teachers Development ceremony was grandly held in the conference room on the second floor of the comprehensive building in our school.

Mr Lu Min, Principal of High School Affiliated to Beijing Institute of Technology (Tongzhou Campus), Director Zhao Zhenyu, and 7 instructors; Executive Director of BCCSC Andy Throung, Executive Principal Tian Zhenzhou, Party Secretary Jing Zhi, Vice Principal Laurel, Vice Principal Ma Ge, Director Li Zhifeng, Director Huang Changqing and 7 young teachers. Vice Principal Mage hosted the meeting.

First of all, Executive Director Andy delivered a speech and warmly welcomed the leaders and teachers of the two schools. He talked about the 23 years history of BCCSC and that it has constantly adapted to the development of the times and changes in different conditions. Therefore, teacher professional development is the key to improving the quality of education and the source of long-term development of the school. Subsequently, Director Zhao Zhenyu of High School Affiliated to Beijing Institute of Technology introduced the 7 instructors of this “one-on-one” pairing activity. They have gained rich teaching experience in the front line of teaching. Principal Mage introduced 7 young teachers from BCCSC. Executive Director Andy, Principal Lu Min, and Executive Principal Tian Zhenzhou issued mentor-apprentice pairing certificates to 14 teachers and a group photo was taken.

Teacher Lu Yu from our school speaks on behalf of the young teachers who have been apprentices. Teacher Yang Meiying from High School Affiliated to Beijing Institute of Technology shared his experience with young teachers "How to be a good teacher". As a teacher, you must keep learning and be curious about the unknown.

At last, principal Lu Min delivered a speech. She was very grateful for the invitation of Beijing China-Canada School. As "neighbors", the two schools are located in Songzhuang, an important art town. In the future, further cooperation and exchanges should be strengthened to cultivate talents for the development of Beijing's urban sub-center. Finally, all the leaders and teachers took a group photo.

Finally, all the participants congratulated the successful teaching and research activities and cooperation ceremony with the warmest applause! The "one-on-one" paired teaching and research activities between our school and the High School Affiliated to Beijing Institute of Technology will effectively promote the sharing of high-quality education and teaching resources between the two schools and better guide the professional development of our school's young teachers.
