2020 Australian Mathematical Contest (AMC) awards
Our school students participated in the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) on September 26, 2020, and the results were announced. A total of 38,516 students from 2,435 international schools and elementary and secondary schools across the country participated in the competition. A total of 141 students from our school won the awards, and the awards are as follows:

Zhang Jiarong won the Excellence Award with a score of 131 points (out of 135 points).

The Australian Mathematics Contest (AMC) is currently the world’s largest and long-established inter-school mathematics competition. A total of 15 million students from 32 countries have participated in the competition. It allows students around the world to learn deeply, learn together, and deeply understand the importance of mathematics in life. AMC has set up different awards according to the five difficulty levels of A, B, C, D, and E. Each difficulty level is awarded separately by grade. There are 30 questions in the exam, with a total score of 135 points.
After participating in international mathematics competitions, the students different problem-solving methods, improved their problem-solving ability. BCS/BCCSC have achieved excellent results in all previous international competitions they participated in and won many awards.
