The purpose of choosing this research topic is to further promote the cultivation of students’ key ability, improve the quality of school education and teaching, help students better prepare for further studies and employment, and improve students’ adaptability and competitiveness. The research provides a certain theoretical reference and practical basis.

How to accurately define the key ability? What is its value and significance? How are they implemented in the middle school classroom, and what are the strategies? How to avoid overlapping and overlapping? How to promote the cultivation of human core literacy through the cultivation of the core literacy of the subject?

The teachers of the research group actively explored these issues and made a lot of attempts. They wrote three opening, mid-term, and closing reports, more than 20 individual achievement papers, and more than 40 cases. Nearly 1,000 copies of teaching videos and photos, more than 600 copies of teaching plans, study plans, questionnaires, interview outlines, scales, and sub-project plans, and more than 500 copies of student works.

After three years of exploration, students have gained an active, relaxed, and sensitive thirst for knowledge in participating in the subject practice activities with integrated design.
