Congratulations on the Excellent AP Results Achieved by BCCSC

AP courses (Advanced Placement courses) started in 1955. It is the highest academic recognition classes and students are able to study university levels classes in high school stages. The AP course broadens the knowledge scope of the students, enabling students to learn more difficult courses, with high levels of analysis and understanding ability. The United States and more than 90% of colleges and all universities accepted AP exam and awarded university credits. The Ap courses aims to improve students' academic level, cultivate students' learning skills, thinking ability, and make full preparation for university study. At the same time, many universities also use AP scores as essential conditions or important basis for admission.

BCCSC is one of the earliest schools in China which introduced AP to the school. It has always attached importance to the construction and development of AP courses in the past 20 years. Currently, more than 20 AP courses, and a group of AP teachers were developed here. Calculus AB and calculus BC became two very strong courses at the school.

2021 is the first online test after the epidemic. Regarding to the school's centralized examination, the school leaders teachers and students work together to overcome all kinds of difficulties, and successfully completed the exam and achieved excellent results. The excellent rate and high range of multiple subjects exceed the global level.

Among the 93 exams participated by 47 students, 85% of students reached an excellent level, 70% of students got a high or full score. 17 students got more than 3 outstanding results and won the American University Council AP Scholar Award.
