The Australian AMC Mathematics Competition was held on September 25, 2021. A and B level examinations were held from 10:00 to 11:00 in the morning, and C, D, E level examinations were be held from 14:00 to 15:15 in the afternoon.

Introduction

The Australian Mathematics Competition was hosted by the Australian Mathematics Trust (AMT), which was founded by the famous mathematician Peter O’ Halloran in 1978, and is the world’s largest school-based mathematics competition. Today, students from more than 30 countries participate each year.

In order to allow more students to participate in the competition, AMC is divided into two types of competitions to choose from, namely online and paper. The Australian Mathematical Contest AMC is an important competition index for AMT to select the national team of the International Mathematical Olympiad for Australia every year.

AMC is a globally unified standard with a total of 30 questions. The difficulty of the questions gradually increases. Students in grades 3-6 must complete the answers within 60 minutes, and students in grades 7-12 must complete the answers within 75 minutes. All questions are designed to test students' mathematical thinking, and students can get answers quickly without using a calculator.

AMC's creative question types and multi-language test questions allow mathematics enthusiasts around the world to have a deep understanding of the field of mathematics, learn together, and have a deep understanding of the importance of mathematics in life.
