BCCSC Legal Education Lecture

According to the notice from Tongzhou Education Bureau about having constitution week and enhance the legal awareness, the students administration office held a lot of education activities with the topic of “following the Chinese Communist Party rule of law and Chairman Xi Jinping’s philosophy”. BCCSC invited the president of Beijing Tongzhou Law Court Sun Xiaodong to have a lecture with students.

President sun analyzed the inducements leading to crimes for the participating teachers and students in combination with his work experience and typical cases. He explained in detail the countermeasures to prevent illegal crimes, especially intentional injury crimes such as campus brawl and drinking, theft, high-altitude parabolic crime, helping information network crime, dangerous driving crime and highly educated crime. He integrated theory with practice, explained cases in simple terms, interpreted the law by case, which makes the lecture full of vitality and strong appeal. It not only teaches students to take warning and improve their legal awareness, but also that they should be good at using legal weapons to protect themselves.

The students listened attentively at the lecture hall. After the meeting, they said they benefited a lot. They understood the seriousness of the illegal and criminal acts around them from a new perspective, truly understood the importance of learning, and strengthened the loyalty of teachers and students which have laid a solid foundation for the construction of a civilized campus.
