Congratulations to our students on winning the AMC Australian mathematics competition

AMC Australian mathematics competition is a large-scale mathematical thinking challenge activity in the world. It has a history of 44 years and 16 million students from 32 countries participated. It is organized by the Australian mathematics Federation (AMT), an international authoritative academic institution. AMT was founded by Peter O'Halloran, a famous mathematician in Australia. It aims to enrich the content of mathematics education for students at all stages and provide more cutting-edge mathematical ideas, theoretical trends and educational resources. The Australian mathematics Federation (AMT), headquartered at the University of Canberra, is composed of mathematicians, educators and members of professional mathematics associations from Australia and around the world. AMT holds the Australian mathematics competition (abbreviated as AMC) every year. Its creative question types and multilingual test questions enable mathematics recipients around the world to have a deep discussion in the field of mathematics, learn together, and deeply understand the importance of mathematics in life.

153 students of our school won good results in last Australian Mathematical Thinking challenge (AMC), and 12 teachers won the excellent instructor award. The competition also attracted nearly 40000 students from more than 2000 international schools and key schools in China. In the fierce competition, our school won the following Awards:

National Awards:

2 students won the first prize: G4-2 Zhang Jiarong, G4-6 Luo Tianyu.

15 students won the second prize: G3-4 Zhao Baifan, G4-3 Cheng Xuhan, G4-5 Huang muzimo, G4-6 Ren zhinuo,G5-1 Tao Jiayue, G5-4 Xiao zikun, G6-2 Cai Yiyi, G6-3 Shi Haoyang, G7-1 Tu Zexuan, G8-1 Liu Xiuqi, G11-1 Hu Yanhao Bu Huayi, G11-2 Wang Yuzhi Huang Yingtai, G11-3 Wang Jian.

41 students won the third prize.

95 students won the mathematics skill award.

The 12 teachers who won the excellent instructor award are: Li Xu, Cao Xun, Zeng Chengcui, etc.

In addition, 11 outstanding students won the ASDAN activity scholarship of 3000 yuan, namely G11-1 Hu Yanhao, Piao Huazhe,Sshe Yuanzheng, An Mushi, G11-2 Wang Yuzhi, Zhao Siheng, Zhao Boning, Du Jinyi, Huang Yingtai, G12-2 Zhou Yu, Wang Qianzhi.
