BCS/BCCSC Learning from Leifeng Volunteer Week

We have made great efforts to guide the whole school students to learn and inherit Lei Feng spirit, and carry forward the socialist core values, and take the initiative to assume social responsibility. Our school has carried out a series of voluntary service activities to learn from Lei Feng and practice civilization in the new era.

1. Lei Feng Literature Exhibition

The school applied for Lei Feng literature exhibition posters printed by the archives of Tongzhou District Municipal patriotism education base on the 59th "learning from Lei Feng Memorial Day" and the 22nd "Chinese Youth Volunteer Service Day", . The Youth League Committee of our school organized League members and volunteers to arrange exhibition boards in the playground.

Each school department organized a study tour by class, and the volunteers of the Youth League Committee and the student union took turns to guide and explain to the students.

2. Educational activities on the theme of "three ones" to learn from Lei Feng

The young pioneers organized and carried out the "three ones" theme education activities, which are telling a Lei Feng story, learning a Lei Feng diary and learning to sing a song. They guided teenagers to remember Lei Feng's glorious deeds and learn the noble sentiments of contemporary advanced figures.

The Youth League Committee of the school organized and carried out the "three ones" theme education activities, held the volunteer service activity of "striving to be the successor of Lei Feng spirit", carried out the speech under the national flag of "learning from Lei Feng". They organized the design activity of blackboard newspaper with the theme of "learning from Lei Feng spirit". The school organized activity of learning from Lei Feng as the "first lesson of moral education practice" at the beginning of school, and guided the majority of teenagers to learn and carry forward Lei Feng's noble spirit of serving the people wholeheartedly and selflessly for the cause of the people.

The dormitory organized boarding students to carry out voluntary service activities of "learning from Lei Feng and serving others".

3. Round Square Committee held a symposium on learning Lei Feng spirit

With the theme of "Inheriting Lei Feng spirit and Practicing Socialist Core Values", students of the Round Square committee carried out sharing exchanges and discussion based on the contents of "the core values of Lei Feng spirit in the times" and "how to learn Lei Feng spirit in the new era".

4. G3 to G12 held class meetings on the theme of learning from Lei Feng

Teachers held class meeting to guide the students to understand what Lei Feng spirit is and what the connotation of Lei Feng spirit is, so as to strive students to overcome their own shortcomings, stimulate their dedication, learn to care and help others, and improve themselves.

5. Continue Lei Feng's diary

As a new youth in the new era, we should continue to carry forward this spirit, continue to write Lei Feng's diary, record the typical characters or typical events around him who show Lei Feng's spirit in the new era.

Lei Feng explained his loyalty to the party and his love for the motherland and the people with his short life. It is hoped that all students will take practical action to be the screws of the new era, inherit Lei Feng's spirit, carry forward the voluntary spirit of dedication, and continue to write Lei Feng's story of the new era with practical actions!
