Experience the Inheritance of Family Tradition and Learn Chuci BCS/BCCSC Hunan Study Tour Day TWO

Early in the morning on the second day of the study, we drove to the foot of Bijia Mountain, about 70 kilometers east of Yueyang City, Hunan Province, where a mysterious ancient folk village, Zhang Guying Village, appeared in front of us. Zhangguying Village, named after its ancestor in the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, is the most complete ancient residential building community in the south of the Yangtze River that preserves the traditional architectural style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties so far in China. It is known as "the first village in the world" and "the folk Palace Museum".In the long years of history, Zhang Guying Village has formed a model folk culture, inherited the fine model of traditional Chinese morality, "the prosperity of the family is not as good as the prosperity of the school", and the traditional family style of farming and reading is the cultural pursuit of this village from generation to generation. Zhang Guying Village, relying on the ingenious architectural art, respects the filial piety, honesty and beautiful family style construction spread far and wide by Zhang Guying, combines the beautiful natural scenery and various ancient handicrafts with its own characteristics, and creates a series of physical and mental benefit activities for students.

In the afternoon, the teachers and students of our school came to Quzi Cultural Park, which is located in Quzi Temple Town, Miluo City, Hunan Province. It is the place where Qu yuan, the first great patriotic poet in Chinese history, the founder of Chinese romantic literature and the "ancestor of Chinese poetry", created his work. There are temples and scenic spots. Here is the place to seek the roots of poetry culture for thousands of years, where we review the poet's beautiful lines of shining the sun and the moon, and appreciate Quzi's spirit and quality of seeking from top to bottom and peerless independence.

It is a treasure. Students are here to read all things in the world, to identify every tree and grass, to cultivate temperament, to precipitate the soul, to learn in the tour, to gain new knowledge in the walk, and to broaden their horizons.

Quzi Temple restores the romantic atmosphere of Chu for thousands of years and deeply understands the meaning of Lisao. Students are here to trace the source of Chinese culture and touch the steel and iron bones of "Quyuan Spirit".
