Good News of Winning the 2023 Kangaroo Mathematics Competition

The results of the 2023 Kangaroo Mathematical Thinking Competition were announced. BCCSC and BCS won 4 National Super Gold Awards, 7 National Gold Awards, 17 National Silver Awards, 22 National Bronze Awards and 25 National Mathematical Skills Awards, totaling 75 medals.

The Kangaroo Mathematical Thinking Competition was initiated by the famous Australian mathematician Peter O 'Halloran in 1980 and co-sponsored by the Australian Mathematical Federation (AMT) and ASDAN China (ASDAN College).As a large-scale mathematical thinking challenge activity for teenagers in the world, Kangaroo Mathematics is different from the traditional Mathematical Olympiad. Its purpose is to stimulate children's interest in learning mathematics and self-confidence, cultivate students'mathematical thinking, and train students' ability to read, understand, analyze and solve problems with interesting and vivid topics close to life. Every year, the Kangaroo Mathematics Competition is held in 87 countries and regions, with more than 6 million students participating every year, and the activities are gradually becoming popular all over the world.
