Gratitude to Alma Mater | Former graduates of our school donated six AEDs to provide health protection for teachers and students

On 16 October,Mr.Xu Lixiang, a 2015 graduate of our school, general manager of Jiangsu Lingxian Food Co., Ltd., and director of Lianyungang Pacific Quartz Charity Foundation donated six external defibrillators (AEDs) to his alma mater BCCSC.The gift brought health and safety protection for all teachers and students.

The AED donation and cardiac first aid skills training ceremony was held in the conference room of the comprehensive building of our school. Secretary General of Lianyungang Pacific Quartz Charity Foundation Ms. Wang Yunxia, Vice Board man Mr. Andy Truong, Executive Principal Mr. Tian Zhenzhou, Vice Principal of Health Mr. Shi Weitao , Director of Lianyungang Pacific Quartz Charity Foundation Mr. Xu Lixiang,school faculty and student representatives were present, and Vice Principal Mr. Zhang Gang presided over the donation ceremony.

At the ceremony, Mr. Andy Truong delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the school.As an alumnus of China and Canada, Mr. Xu Lixiang, director of the Stone Foundation, shared his learning experience and entrepreneurial experience with teachers and students.At the same time, he expressed his gratitude for the education of our school and expressed his great honor to contribute to the protection of the lives of teachers and students in his alma mater.I hope to take this opportunity to influence more alumni and make more contributions to the construction and development of my alma mater, to the society and to the country.

First aid knowledge should be spread to the campus to enhance the skills of self-rescue and mutual rescue on campus.The professionals explained and practiced the first aid skills to the teachers and students of our school.AED defibrillation is considered to be a new and effective way of first aid, which is called "life-saving artifact".We should search and find AED on campus, and carry out emergency rescue according to the machine prompt.
