BCS Lecture on Improving the Scientific Literacy

BCS sincerely invited the senior scientist Professor Sun Baowei from the Chinese Academy of Sciences to host a lecture on science popularization in the expert group of the training seminar on improving the student scientific literacy in Tongzhou District Association of Science and Technology on 13 October.The theme was "Our Space and Magical Space Flight".

Professor Sun Baowei, the speaker of this lecture, is the former Secretary of the Party Committee of Xichang Satellite Launch Center, China.He is the expert of the Science Popularization Lecture Group of Senior Scientists of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Professor Sun has been working in the field of national defense science and technology and aerospace for a long time.He has participated in many manned space flight control missions and satellite launching missions in China.

As a participant and witness of China's space industry, he has personally experienced the difficult course of the development of China's space industry.They shared the touching stories of selfless dedication of many astronauts and gave students an inspiring lesson on the spirit of space flight.
